Method
- Preheat oven to 300°F if you want a crunchy finish (optional).
- In a large bowl, whisk together maple syrup and all spices.
- Add popcorn and pecans. Toss gently until lightly coated.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
- For crunchy popcorn: Spread on a baking sheet and bake 10 minutes.
- For softer popcorn: Enjoy immediately straight from the bowl.
Notes
Any nuts or seeds will do. If you're avoiding them because of heart disease, just leave them out and replace with granola for added crunch.
