Method
Cookies
- Whisk dry ingredients together.
- Mix wet ingredients together.
- Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just mixed. (Don't overstir). Add milk only if mixture is too dry.
- Bake 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool before glazing.
- They will harden after 5-10 minutes or so. Yields 2 dozen cookies.
Glaze
- Mix together and drizzle on cookie.
- Sprinkle with lemon zest and lavender buds.
Notes
Culinary lavender should be mashed or ground with a mortal and thistle to release the oils first.
